Terms of Service

These terms apply to Run with ME, the web app and the iOS app. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Run with ME lets you log activities, compete in challenges with friends, and optionally import your own Strava activities or workouts from Apple Health. Run with ME is not an official Strava product and is not endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Strava. It is not an Apple Health product and is not endorsed by Apple.

Age

You must be at least sixteen (16) years old to use Run with ME. The service is not directed to children below that age.

Consistency with Strava's terms

These terms do not conflict with or supersede the Strava API Agreement, the Strava Terms of Service, or the Strava Privacy Policy. If you connect Strava you remain bound by Strava's terms for your Strava account. Where these terms and Strava's terms conflict for Strava's services, Strava's terms control.

Your content

You are responsible for the activities and other content you add. If you import Strava data you confirm you have the right to connect that account and, after the in-app consent, to share imported activities with friends or challenge participants according to the privacy setting you choose. If you import from Apple Health you confirm you are the person whose workouts those are.

If you disconnect Run with ME, revoke access in Strava, or delete an activity or your Strava account, we delete the corresponding imported Strava data from Run with ME. A personal best calculated from an activity (time or distance, and date) can remain until you delete your Run with ME account. Manual and TCX activities you added yourself stay until you delete them or your account.

Ending your account

You may delete your account from your profile. We then sign you out and return you to the login page. Deletion removes the account and imported Strava activities stored with it, and revokes Run with ME at Strava on a best-effort basis. If that call does not reach Strava, revoke access in Strava settings. Some records can remain after deletion, as described in the Privacy Policy: audit-log entries, password-reset records, and a team photo left on a challenge team. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that we must close to meet a legal duty.

Strava API availability

Access to the Strava API is a privilege granted by Strava, not a right. Strava may modify or discontinue the API at any time. If that happens, Strava import will stop and we will inform users of the service. We do not guarantee that import, sync, or webhooks will remain available. The same applies to Apple Health: import works only while Apple allows the iOS app to read the types you permitted.

We do not charge you for access to Strava data or for functionality that merely displays or imports that data. Any future paid Run with ME features would be for our own challenge and logging tools, not for Strava's platform.

Third-party services

Strava and other third-party providers are not parties to these terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim, on behalf of those providers, all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we exclude those providers from liability for consequential, special, punitive, and indirect damages.

Our responsibility

The service is provided as it is available. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including liability for fraud or for a duty that cannot be excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unchanged.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. The courts of Poland have jurisdiction, without taking away any right you have to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence where the law requires that.
